Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 16 mm, 1.96 g, 9 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Siscia. Irregular mint, after 318. Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right; around, imitative legend. Rev. Two victories standing facing each other and holding shield over altar; around, imitative legend and mintmark. About extremely fine.

This coin is a highly stylized contemporary imitation of Constantine's 'VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP' series, known as the Danubian type, minted from 318 in Siscia. Notably, the legends on this coin were created by punching the letters into the dies.
